DEAD TO YOU is in stores this week!

This is the first time I'm not doing a major tour for one of my books--it feels strange! And I'll actually be home with my family on both Valentine's Day and my birthday this year, hooray! But oh, how I will miss you.

The timing is great, though. I've got a few tight deadlines in the first half of 2012, so being able to work at home means I'll be a lot more productive (which means more books for you in 2013)! But I'll miss meeting booksellers, librarians, teachers, and especially teens this time around. I think I will be touring again in the fall when The Unwanteds: Island of Silence comes out.

The good news is that I'll be doing a few short visits here and there. This Thursday I'll be at CHANGING HANDS BOOKSTORE in Tempe, AZ for the launch party of DEAD TO YOU (call ahead to order personalized/signed copies--they ship almost anywhere). I'll be at the Chino Book Festival in Chino, CA on Sunday, Feb 26, signing in the Mrs. Nelson's Toys & Books booth. I'll also be visiting one of my favorite cities, Houston, for their Teen Book Festival in mid-April. As always, you can follow my travels on the TOUR page on my website. I will add more as they come along.

I hope you enjoy DEAD TO YOU! It's a stand-alone. And hopefully soon I'll be able to let you know what's coming next -- I can't wait to share the news! Stay tuned.

Thank you for buying my books! I really appreciate you.

xoxo

  9. This book really needs a sequel. I couldn't put it down. It's killing me not knowing the outcome. Feels like we just got the prologue. Feels unfinished... That being said, an AMAZING read. Felt real. I was sucked in.

    1. You're actually considering using the terrible ending of this book as inspiration in your writing endeavors? Thank you for letting us know that so I will be sure to not read any of your books either.

  23. I read Dead To You this summer, and I cried while reading it. It was so powerful, and the ending just killed me. Please take serious consideration in writing a sequel. It has bothered me non-stop since finishing it. Every time I think of reading another book, I think of Dead To You, and then I get all teary because it makes me so upset that the ending is a big cliffhanger. I BEG you...make a sequel. Even if its a few years before you finish it! Please! I just can't live life without knowing what happens to Ethan. He's my favorite book character ever, and I MUST find out! Thank you!

  25. Dead To You was one of the best books I have ever read, and I read it in 2 days! But it NEEDS a sequel, cause Dead To You is such a cliff hanger, and it would make so much more sense withva second one. Writing a book must take a lot of effort and time, but please Lisa, write a sequel! In positive all of tour fans would appreciate it soooo much! I cried whevi finished it. Like what's going to happen to the De Wilde's, and Ethan, AND Cami??? Please, please write a sequel! :(

  34. This is the first book I read by this author, and I can honestly say that I will not seek out anymore of her works based on this experience. If the writer can't even finish a story and leaves it without a continuation, what's the point? The kind of ending that's in this book leaves me cold
