I wish I could have been there. It's about 2 1/2 - 3 hours from me, and on a holiday weekend, it might be more. Too bad the weather isn't too nice this weekend. We even had snow in the hills! Good luck with the book signing!
I am not anywhere close to your signing, but I wanted to say Hi. I picked up your book last night to read a bit before I went to bed. Then I stayed up way too late (2:30 AM) and finished it.
You did a wonderful job with the book. The characters are compelling and likeable. In spite of their trials, they are not pitiable. The situation - catcher idea - is just wonderful. Loved it.
I have been rereading Lois Duncan's books. I finished "They Never Came Home" just minutes before I picked up yours. I hope that you know what a compliment I intend when I tell you that your book made a wonderful next read after a Lois Duncan. I wish you as long and as book-filled a career as she.
