why is there a new cover? Was the other one just for the ARC?
I'm looking forward to reading your new book no matter what it looks like :)
Sometimes sales teams or publisher teams do a cover and then later think, this isn't strong enough, or 'whatever' enough, or it just doesn't fit this book quite right, so they re-do the cover. I'm not sure exactly what they were feeling about the original cover, but they decided to change it. :)

I liked the original cover a little better but I might change my mind when I see it in the flesh ;)
I actually really like this one. The other looked a little bit too much like the other books in the MG section. This is very eye-catching, and says it might be scary and adventurous. Which, knowing Lisa, it probably will be!

I really liked the original cover for The Unwanteds, but I'm loving this one as well :)
Wow. That's a really cool cover. I have not had the opportunity to check out any of your books before, but I will surely pick up The Unwanteds.
I love the new cover! It looks much less juvenile. I know my 10 year old will be much more likely to pick it up now. That's good too. I won't have to take heat from the husband for buying a kid's book for myself... ;-)
i like this one SO much better! the e-arc version i have is of the last one, and while that one was cute, this one just takes it to a whole new level of coolness. :)
I love the new cover!! I cannot say why but I think it's perfect!
