Regarding the Greatest Obstacle essay contest...

We've narrowed the entries down to about 10. I hope to be choosing a winner in the next 24 hours, and then Simon & Schuster will notify the winner. I don't know exactly when this will happen.

UPDATE (4/7): I still don't have a winner, but I'm working on it very hard. I'll tell you right now, there is no easy choice here. You should all feel very proud about your work.

Thank you for your patience.

Will they notify people who've entered whether they lost or not, or will only the winner know when you've decided?

Will everyone everyone be notified who entered? Or just the winner. Same question was the other guy but I wanna know too lol.

There were over 400 entries. Only the winner will be notified, but I'll post a new blog when the winner has been notified so you'll know.

Sorry again about the wait. We want to do this right and give everyone proper attention. That's a lot of essays to judge in one month! :)

You say you've narrowed it down to ten? Could you tell us the top ten? I'm sure that would put the rest of our minds at ease.

Dude, no. I'm sorry. This is a formal sweepstakes, not just a simple contest. There are rules to follow.

Please be patient.
